Introduction to the Course
This course is a continuation of the course Umdat ul Fiqh – Fiqh of Worship. In this specific course, the rules related to social dealings are covered, completing the study of this book. These are matters pertaining to business, marital relations and legal laws.
For this course, the following chapters are covered:
- Chapter of Buyoo’ – Business Transactions
- Chapter of Fara’aid – Inheritance
- Chapter of Nikkah and Talaq – Marriage and Divorce
- Chapter of Tt’am – Food
- Chapter of Nadhr and Ayman – Oaths and Vows
- Chapter of Diya – Blood Money
- Chapter of Hudood – Legal Penalties
- Chapter of Jihad – Warfare
- Chapter of Qada & Shahadah – Judgeship & Testimonies
Objectives of the course:
- To understand the judicial rulings in business, family law and legal penalties
- To understand how Allah wants us to worship Him in our social and familial relationships
- To appreciate the guidance that Allah has placed in every aspect of our lives
- To learn how how to implement the character of the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam)
